Community Foundation 2012 Granting Theme - Improving Personal Financial Skills

Each year the Community Foundation of Prince Edward Island (CFPEI) has the privilege of financially supporting a timely theme that will benefit many Islanders. The theme for 2012 is Improving Personal Financial Skills. It is focused on increasing the knowledge Islanders have about debt, the cost of debt, and the long term effects that debt has on ones future. The intention is to raise awareness on a variety of personal financial issues including: interest rates, personal and family budgeting, financial planning, and managing debt. Financial support may be available to assist and support education initiatives in this area.

CFPEI supports charitable and not-for-profit organizations and if your organization is actively involved, or is planning to be involved, in providing a program that addresses the priorities described above, please complete an application form and submit to CFPEI. The application deadline date is June 1, 2012.
