Lorne and Ruby Bonnell Scholarship Fund
The Lorne and Ruby Bonnell Scholarship Fund was established on December
14, 2000 by the Honourable M. Lorne Bonnell, a prominent Prince Edward
Island medical doctor, past Cabinet Minister of the Provincial
Legislature, and Senator.
Scholarship

Scholarships of up to $1,000.00 is to be awarded to
a student graduating from the University of Prince
Edward Island and who has been accepted at a Canadian
University for advanced study in the physical sciences.
Conditions of Eligibility
- Be a graduate of a Prince Edward Island High School
- Be a graduate of the University of Prince Edward Island with high academic standing
- Be accepted into graduate studies, in the sciences, at a Canadian University
Basis of Selection

The successful candidate will be determined by a selection committee
established by the University of Prince Edward Island following the
guidelines of conditions of eligibility.
Application Procedure

After completing the application form, available from the
Registrar.s Office, University of Prince Edward Island
the candidate will submit the application form and all
supporting documents on or before May 30th, to:
