SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE


The following scholarships are available through your Community Foundation:

Rear Admiral Louise C. and Mr. James E. Wilmot Scholarship
The purpose of the Fund is to improve health care in the Souris area through the provision of financial assistance to nurses in training on condition that, after completing their training and obtaining certification, they accept employment in the Souris Hospital for a period equal to the period covered by the scholarship.

ORIN CARVER SCHOLARSHIP
- open to high a school graduates in the top 25% of the class and who exhibit a level of excellence and leadership in either athletics, arts and/or community service and who are accepted into a post-secondary program at UPEI or Holland College.

ARCHITECTS ASSOCIATION OF P.E.I. SCHOLARSHIP
- open to a Prince Edward Island student who graduated from a PEI High School and is accepted into a recognized architectural program.

PHILLIPS SCHOLARSHIP
- available to a high school graduate from the Western School District with a physical disability and is open for study in any field.

SUMMERSIDE-NATICK HOCKEY SCHOLARSHIP
- available to a high school graduate who has played within the Summerside Minor Hockey Association and is open for study in any field.

RUBY AND LORNE BONNELL SCHOLARSHIP
- available to a graduate of UPEI enrolling in graduate studies in the pure sciences at a Canadian university.

JOAN AULD SCHOLARSHIP
- available to a high school graduate undertaking full time studies in a craft related field at a recognized institution of applied art, craft and design.

G. GORDEN LORD SCHOLARSHIP FUND and the T. ARTHUR DAWSON SCHOLARSHIP FUND ,Masonic Scholarships
